Job Title: Groundskeeper
Salary: pay based on experience
Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal
Job Description: This work involves responsibility for grounds and maintenance of the Lewis County Fairgrounds throughout the spring, summer, and fall months. With some Saturday and Sunday hours possible.

Typical Work Activities:

• Lawn mowing / Trimming
• Basic maintenance & repairs of mechanical equip & light carpentry
• Garbage removal
• Clean and restock bathrooms
• Assisting with table & chair rentals
• Watering of sports field
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Oversee & direct summer fair maintenance staff
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
• Spring / Fall clean up of lawns and leaves

Minimum Qualifications

• General housekeeping knowledge
• General small engine repair knowledge
• Experience with small tractors/lawn mowers
• Valid Driver’s License with tractor experience a plus
• Organized & good communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
